Season

Episode
#26: Midsummer’s Nightmare – The fairy Puck takes advantage of Sabrina and
Cassandra’s bickering to become the star of the school’s production of “A Midsummer
Night’s Dream.” Shakespeare’s Puck leads us into this Bard-inspired story.
Sabrina and Cassandra both use magic to sabotage each other’s auditions to win
the lead role opposite Harvey in the school play. Ms. Magrooney catches on to
the supernatural antics and casts Cassandra in the desired role and makes
Sabrina the director. Sabrina’s every direction is intended to prevent Cassandra
from being close to Harvey, while Cassandra stops at nothing to draw him
closer. After both girls separately agree to work for the good of the play and
not romantic gain, Puck appears to Cassandra and promises to keep Sabrina away
from Harvey. Cassandra was told by her aunt not to use magi, but she didn’t say
someone ELSE couldn’t! Puck appears at rehearsal as Fabius, a gorgeous new student
eager to be the leading man. He casts a spell that makes Sabrina fall in love
with him and she immediately recasts Fabius in Harvey’s role. When the spell wears
off, Sabrina realizes how untalented Fabius is and begs Harvey to come back.
When Cassandra sees Sabrina’s dedication
to the show, she apologizes for bringing Fabius. All is well until that evening’s
performance when the embittered Puck tries to ruin the play. The two dedicated witches
use the power of friendship to drive him away. In a fitting epilogue, Puck
admits that it is much too hard to meddle in the lives of TWO witches. Harvey
auditions for the role of Oberon in the school play A Midsummer Night’s Dream
and Sabrina and Cassandra are auditioning for the role of Titania. Sabrina
ruins Cassandra’s audition by casting a spell on a fan, which causes her to fly
off-stage. Cassandra in turn ruins Sabrina’s audition by making her forget her
lines and sleep. As punishment, Ms. Magrooney makes Sabrina the director and
Cassandra, Titania. Sabrina takes advantage of her role as director by preventing
Cassandra from doing anything that could make her close to Harvey. They both
try to cooperate with each other, when suddenly Puck appears and does a favor
for Cassandra by preventing Sabrina from getting close to Harvey. But this is a
plan to have the role of Oberon. It works when he changes Sabrina’ mind using
fairy dust and Harvey is out of the play. The spell wears off and Sabrina regrets
making Harvey leave. When she calls him back, they manage to rehearse the play
properly. Puck ruins the performance by causing a tremor on stage, but Cassandra
am Sabrina defeat him through the power of true friendship.
✰ EPISODE #25:
Witchycology – Sabrina and Maritza make people sign a petition inviting a
professional skateboarder, Ricky Speed, to Greendale to do a charity event to
prevent pollution and littering. The charity event is a success and as a reward
to Sabrina and Maritza, he teaches them to ride the half-pipe. Cassandra ruins
Maritza’s performance by causing her to blow away in the sky. Sabrina saves her
and blames Cassandra, who also happened to be littering. She goes away from the
event with Olivia to watch Hay McGoblin perform his skating event in the
Netherworld. Hay passes around cans of toxic waste, which causes all of the
witches in the Netherworld to turn into stone. This in turn leads all of the
magic in the Netherworld to disappear: Olivia’s plan to take over the Netherworld.
Sabrina and Maritza (who believes it to be a dream) go to the Netherworld to
help restore and destroy Hay and Olivia. The toxic waste cans cripple Sabrina’s
magic, but they finally succeed when Hay gives in and Olivia is defeated by a
spell Sabrina cast which turns her into stone. Cassandra unwittingly helps a
disgruntled witch take over the Netherworld by polluting it and turning all the
witches there to stone.
