ZOEY 101 SEASON #1
EPISODE
#0: PILOT – Zoey begins PCA. She is nervous about the situation at first but
gets more comfortable when she meets her new friends, Dana, Quinn, Chase,
Nicole, Logan and Michael. The girls and boys try to adjust to girls being
allowed to attend PCA for the first time. Zoey Brooks and her brother Dustin,
are heading to their first day at Pacific Coast Academy, a private boarding
school that is allowing females to enroll for the first time in its history. Az
Zoey gets acquainted with her new surroundings, she decides to try out for the
boys’ basketball team, a decision that is met with opposition from a boy named Logan.
Zoey challenges Logan to a five-on-five, boys-versus-girls basketball game,
which the boys dominate and Zoey’s gruff roommate Dana decides to join the
fray, carrying the girls all the way back to within one point. The girls lose
on Dana’s missed last-second shot but win the boys’ respect and acceptance in
the process.
✰ EPISODE #1:
WELCOME TO PCA – For the first time, PCA is allowing girls to attend the traditionally
all-boys school. Zoey is one of those girls and although she starts her journey
a little nervous, she begins to relax after meeting a few more girls, namely
Dana, Quinn and Nicole. She also meets Chase, Logan and Michael, some of the
boys on campus. Zoey Brooks is attending a boarding school named Pacific Coast
Academy with her younger brother Dustin. It’s the first year PCA is accepting
girls in as it was previously an all-boys academy. Zoey’s father drives Zoey
and Dustin there. When she gets there, a student named Chase Matthews sees Zoey
and then runs his bike into a flagpole. Zoey and Chase meet and introduce themselves.
Zoey is assigned to Room 101 in Butler hall. Chase gives Zoey a tour of the campus
and shows her to her dorm room. Chase then has to leave because guys were hanging
his bike from a tree. Zoey then hears a scream. The scream came from Nicole
Bristow in the girls’ bathroom. She screamed because of the urinal in the girls’
bathroom. Zoey and Nicole then discover that their roommates. They go to their
room and find their other roommate Dana Cruz. Zoey and Nicole walk around the
campus and pass by a bunch of guys who are practicing basketball. The guys include
Chase. Zoey wants to try out for the team, but a mean guy named Logan Reese who
is one of the people practicing, doesn’t let them join because there is no
girls’ basketball team at PCA. Zoey says that she’ll get five girls and Logan
can get five guys and they can play a guy’s vs. girl’s basketball game on
Friday.
Zoey
rounds up a bunch of girls. After they find out what’s going on, the gnly girls
who don’t leave are Zoey, Nicole, an intelligent girl named Quinn Pensky, Vicky,
Tasha, and an unnamed girl. The only good player on the team is Zoey. After the
girls’ practice, Logan throws a basketball at the girls to try and hit one of
them. A note is attached to it that says: “Girls got no game. You’re gonna
lose.” At the end of the first half of the game, the guys are leading 24-6. All
six points were made by Zoey and Logan was playing extremely rough and he
actually elbowed Zoey in the nose in an attempt to get the ball from Zoey. Dana
arrives and offers to be on their team. She then shows her skill in basketball.
Quinn reluctantly leaves to leave place for Dana. Dana tells Nicole, Leixi and
the other girls to pass the ball to her whenever they can. In the second half,
Dana and Zoey help the girls catch up. With a few seconds left in the game, the
girls are still losing 28-27. Zoey steals the ball from Logan and passes it to
Dana. Dana attempts a three pointer, but she misses. The guys win, but the coach
lets Zoey and Dana on the team. Zoey accepts, but Dana wants to think about it.
The girls have a party to celebrate almost beating the guys and everyone cheers
for Zoey who helped prove to the guys that they are a part of the school as
much as the guys are and Dana who helped them get back in the game and then Chase,
a player who was on the guys team named Michael Barret, and the other three
players come and apologize for playing a little rough during the game. They say
they don’t think the same way Logan does and ask for some pizza and cake. The
girls then decorate the urinal in the girls’ bathroom.

NEW ROOMMATES – Zoey’s mew roommates, Nicole and Dana do not get along
whatsoever. She is getting fed up. At first, she decides to move in with her neighbor,
Quinn. That might not have been such a great idea though. Zoey’s roommates Dana
and Nicole constantly fight, so Zoey moves into a different room with a girl
named Quinn who turns out be far stranger than either of them. Zoey’s roommates,

and Dana seem happier since Zoey’s departure and she doesn’t want to hurt Quinn’s
feelings, so she pretends to be perfectly content with her new living situation.
But when Quinn unexpectedly asks Zoey to move out, Zoey returns to her old room
with Dana and Nicole, where they learn to better appreciate one another and how
to compromise and coexist.

WEBCAM – Logan offers peace between himself and the girls by giving them a
giant teddy bear. But little did the girls know that Logan had implanted the
teddy bear with a webcam, providing Logan with the ability to spy on them. Logan
offers the girls a peace offering in the form of a stuffed animal, which turns
out to be imbedded with a webcam that he uses to spy on them in their lounge. Logan

the girls finally realize how their secrets are being disseminated throughout the
campus, they devise a plan to incriminate Logan using the help of the other boys
and the owner of a campus sushi restaurant. Zoey, Nicole, Dana and Vicky are playing
a board game called Confess & Stress. Quinn joins them. Chase and Logan
deliver some sushi to the girls. Logan says that he feels bad about the tension
he’s had with the girls and gifts them a huge stuffed teddy bear, which Chase
says had nothing to do with him. The girls continue their game. Nicole
confesses that she has a list on how cute boys’ lips are, while Zoey is forced
to prank call their English teacher. The next morning for some reason, Michael,
Logan and an unnamed guy all make fun of Nicole about her cute lips list. Then Logan
asks Zoey about her prank call to Mr. Calaihan. Everyone ends up knowing what they
confessed and the stressful things they did. Chase’s boss, Kazu, tells Chase
that Logan is sick and can’t show up. More embarrassing things end up spreading
around the school. As the girls are arguing about who did it, it turns out the
culprits are Logan and Michael. They had put a camera in the teddy bear’s left
eye. Chase doesn’t know about this. Zoey asks Nicole and Quinn when this
started happening. They think back and eventually conclude that there was a
webcam in the bear. Quinn tests this out and it turns out to be true. Zoey runs
into the guys room and furiously asks Chase if he had something to do with
this. Chase doesn’t even know what she is talking about. Zoey explains and Chase
reminds her that he didn’t have anything to do with the teddy bear. Zoey turns
on Logan’s computer and sees what’s happening in the girls’ lounge. Chase is
also angry with Logan for calling in sick and giving all his deliveries to him
so that he could spy on them. They tell the girls about this and Michael who has
now learned that spying is wrong. They plan revenge on Logan. Michael now is in
on tricking Logan, makes Logan watch what’s going on in the girls lounge at 8:20.
They see Kazu catch Chase for stealing sushi, Zoey smash a vase on Kazu’s head
(she used a breakaway glass) and plan to blame it on Logan. Logan tells Dean
Rivers, but when he comes to check it out, nothing’s wrong. Logan is so
desperate to tell him what he saw that he ends up telling him that he put a
webcam in the bear to spy on the girls. Logan ends up getting in trouble with
Dean Rivers and losing his job as well. The girls put the bear on the beach so
that they can watch the sunset from their room.
✰ EPISODE #4:
DEFENDING DUSTIN – Dustin, Zoey’s younger brother, is taking an advanced Math
class. At that class, he is getting bullied. Zoey finds out and goes to defend
Dustin against the bully but ends up embarrassing herself and her little brother.
When a school bully forces Dustin to do his homework for him, Zoey confronts the
bully in public, embarrassing him and further enraging the bully. When a school

finds him eventually. Dustin tells Zoey that he’s tired of her treating him
like a baby and that can defend himself. Dustin looks to Chase and Michael for
advice. Meanwhile, Zoey, Nicole, Dana, Chase and Michael try to hide their dog,
Elvis away from their dorm advisor Coco, since it’s against school rules to have
pets on campus. A bully, Keith Finch forces Dustin to do his homework after Dustin
corrects one of Keith’s answers in Math. Zoey finds out and stands up for Dustin,
but just makes things worse. Dustin thinks that she makes him look like a baby.
Finally, Zoey tells Herb, a janitor and a very good actor to be the dean of discipline.
Keith gets a note to go to the principal’s office and there he gets disciplined
by Herb. Dustin then stands up to Keith. Dana goes off campus to get Elvis, Chase
and Michael’s dog, back from the pound, even the DA does not allow it. Dustin
is concerned that Zoey is mothering him too much and when a school bully forces
Dustin to do his homework and laundry for him, Zoey confronts the bully in
public, embarrassing Dustin in the process and further enraging the bully. When
Dustin comes to Chase and Michael for advice on the subject, they tell him to
stick up for himself, which prompts Dustin to challenge the bully to a fight. Zoey
gets wind of the fight and instead of intervening directly, orchestrates a ruse
whereby the janitor poses as a dean in order to threaten the school bully with disciplinary
action. The next time Dustin stands up for himself, the bully backs down and
Zoey is satisfied knowing she helped, even if Dustin is none the wiser.
