She says that if he wants to send the picture, she’d let him, but nothing could be much worse than what he is putting her through. Rico hands over the phone and says he was always the smallest in his classes and that he wanted to be liked. As Miley feels sorry for him, she starts to kiss him on the cheek, but Rico turns his head and kisses Miley on the lips. He screams, “He shoots, he scores!” Miley gives him a mad look and says, “He’s toast,” and she begins to chase him, as Oliver says he never saw Miley so angry. Running from Miley, Rico calls out to the monkey in his locker and it drops a banana on the ground causing Miley to trip over it. Lilly realizes that the secret that Rico knew was that Miley had brought her teddy bear to school, not that she is also Hannah Montana. During the credit the monkey is seen serving ice cones from its ice cone machine in Rico’s locker. At school, Miley and Lilly are excited about it finally being their first day of high school. Unfortunately for Lilly though, she has a zit on her face, so Miley offers to put some makeup on it to cover it up. Miley reveals that she brought her teddy bear from home in her backpack. However, she soon gets a text message on her cell phone saying someone knows her secret and assumes someone knows she’s Hannah Montana. Afterwards, Miley gets another text message from the same person saying her will secret will be revealed to everyone at lunch. Now, Miley is worried that her life at school may be ruined. Meanwhile, Jackson befriends a new guy named Thor at school. Miley tries figuring out who found out her secret and asks Oliver if he told anyone, but he didn’t, so now they have less than two hours to keep searching for the person. In Chemistry class, Jackson’s new friend Thor becomes his new lab partner, much to his dismay. Meanwhile, in Miley and Lilly’s class, their teacher introduces Rico as their new classmate and reveals to Miley that he’s the one who sent the text messages to her. After class, Rico mentions that he had a camera phone and took a picture. In order to keep Miley’s secret, he wants her to be his girlfriend, so Miley reluctantly agrees. Afterwards, he introduces Miley as his girlfriend to some of his friends. Later, Lilly tells Miley that Oliver has found Rico’s locker where he’s keeping the picture of Miley’s secret in. Jackson goes home for lunch, since he can’t be around Thor any longer and complains to Robbie about his accent. However, Robbie reminds Jackson that he was once the new guy at school who got ridiculed for his own accent a few years ago. He tries to get Jackson to cut Thor some slack, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Oliver breaks into Rico’s locker to get his cell phone where the picture is stored, but there’s a monkey inside guarding it. But, as soon as Miley is about to kiss Rico, Oliver and Lilly rush in and tell her they got the picture. However, the cell phone they took from Rico’s locker was just a decoy. Rico has the real cell phone with the picture. In the end, Miley stops trying to be his girlfriend and tells Rico to send the picture to everyone if he really wants to, but he can’t go through with it and gives Miley the picture. He admits that he only wanted to do it because he thought having a girl like Miley kiss him would make him cool. This makes her feel sorry for him, so she agrees to kiss him on the cheek, but he turns around at the last second, making Miley kiss him on the lips. Now, she is furious and chases after him. While Miley chases Rico, Oliver and Lilly find out that the big secret was a picture of Miley kissing her stuffed teddy bear she had brought to school with her, not a picture of her as Hannah Montana like they originally thought. As Rico runs by his locker, he asks his monkey in his locker for help and it throws a banana peel on the floor, causing Miley to trip. As the episode ends, we see Rico’s monkey selling snow cones from his locker and Oliver getting sprayed in the face with syrup by the monkey when he asks for more.

EPISODE #3: YOU ARE SO SUE-ABLE TO ME – Lilly goes from “Skater Girl” to “Glamour Girl” in order to impress her crush on a date. But when her new beau is a no show, Lilly decides that their next date will be in court. Jackson is the happiest boy in the world, after he wins two court side tickets to a Laker’s playoff game. However, his joy is dampened when both Robbie and Thor want the extra seat. At school, Lilly is teased by Amber and Ashley for not acting enough like a girl and oddly enough, Miley agrees with them. And after realizing she doesn’t have a date for the school dance on Friday, she starts thinking they may be right after all. However, the boy she’s had a crush on, Matt, decides to ask her out to the dance. Afterwards, Lilly is still not acting like a girl is supposed to and Miley warns her about the possibility of losing Matt as her date if she can’t stop being such a tomboy. Lilly isn’t worried about it, though, until she sees Matt talking to Amber and Ashley. After seeing that, she agrees to let Miley transform her into a real girl.
Meanwhile, at home, Jackson has several cell phones set up in order to try and win tickets to a Laker’s game from a radio contest and he ends up winning the tickets. Since Thor considers Jackson his new best friend, he asks if he could go with him and Jackson reluctantly agrees to take him. However, Robbie arrives and after hearing him win the tickets on the radio, he invites himself to go see the game with Jackson without realizing Jackson had already agreed to take Thor. With a little help from Miley, Lilly has now ditched the whole tomboy look in favor of that of a glamourous girl. And all of a sudden, she’s now attracting the attention of all the boys at school. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to tell Thor that he can’t take him to the game anymore, but after Thor gives Jackson a basketball-shaped cake for inviting him to the game, Jackson is unable to tell him. After seeing her new look, Matt is speechless about it, but Miley and Lilly think everything is going right.
After her Hannah Montana concert, which is the same day as the school dance, Miley arrives home to find a depressed Lilly there and apparently matt never showed up. Now, Miley is angry that Matt stood her friend up, but the next morning, Lilly is still as depressed as she was before. And after seeing an ad for the TV show, “Teen Court,” Miley and Lilly plan to get their revenge on Matt for what he did. Since he couldn’t tell Thor he couldn’t take him to the Lakers game, Jackson tries to tell his father that he isn’t going to be able to take him instead. But after hearing how proud Robbie is of him winning tickets to the game, Jackson finds it impossible to tell him, too. So, he tries fooling him into thinking he has lots of gas so Robbie would be disgusted to go with him. And the plan almost works except Thor arrives a bit early, celebrating the fact that he was going to the Lakers game. Now, Jackson is forced to tell the truth, but Robbie admits that was wrong in inviting himself and lets Jackson take Thor to the game instead.
At the “Teen Court” courtroom, Miley and Lilly are suing Matt. And at first, everything seems to be going in their favor. However, Matt soon reveals that the girl he had a crush on and wanted to take to the dance was the “skater chic” Lilly, not the “girly” girl she turned into the next day. According to him, that’s the reason he stood her up. Miley, however, disagrees with the fact that he actually liked “skater” Lilly. In the end, since it was Miley who changed who Lilly was, she gets a pile of spaghetti dumped on her. As the episode ends, we see Jackson, Thor and Robbie attending the Lakers game together but in order to get three seats, Jackson had to trade in the court side seats he had won. Now they’re in the nosebleed section and are almost blown away, since they’re right next to the huge speakers.

EPISODE #4: GET DOWN, STUDY-UDY-UDY – Miley focuses on Hannah’s impending tour of Europe, instead of paying attention to her schoolwork. After Robbie learns that her grades are suffering, he tells Miley that he’ll call the tour off, unless she finds a way to bring her grades up. Jackson wishes he could fly the coop, when Snowball, Thor’s talkative pet bird, uses his gift of gab to get Jackson into trouble. Miley is expecting to go on her European tour as Hanna Montana, until her Biology grade slips and her father threatens to cancel the tour. To go on her tour, she has to get a good grade on her mid-term in Biology. She asks Rico to tutor her and in return he has her dress up in an elaborate 18th century costume and hold up a globe as he paints a picture of it. He tells her that his secret of success in school is his photographic memory, which doesn’t help Miley. Realizing that she is easily able to remember her songs and dance routine (based on the Hannah Montana song “Nobody’s Perfect”) about the bones in the human body, which she needs to memorize for the test. While taking the test, she finds that she needs to go through the dance motions to remember the bones, but Ms. Kunkle notices this and makes her stop, thinking that she’s sending signals to cheat. Later, with time running out, Oliver attempts to divert the teacher’s attention by stimulating a nosebleed so that Miley can do the dance motions, but the teacher notices Miley anyway and sends her to the Principal’s office. Miley then saves herself by performing the whole song and dance routine in class called The Bone Dance, with Lilly and Oliver eventually the rest of the class joining in. The teacher is so impressed that she sends her to the Principal to show him the dance moves and gives her an A.
The episode’s subplot involves Jackson keeping Thor’s pet parrot. As Jackson is tutoring a girl in whom he is interested in Spanish, the bird begins repeating insults it heard Thor say that involves the girl’s name, just as she and Jackson are about to kiss. She is outraged and leaves. Back at school, the bird continues to cause trouble for Jackson with its repetitions of phrases and in frustration he tells it to drop dead, which it promptly does. Horrified, Jackson attempts to revive it at which point Thor arrives. Jackson tries to hide the bird in his jacket but is soon forced to reveal what has happened. When Thor takes the bird, it is revealed that it was only playing dead.
After performing “Nobody’s Perfect”, Hannah announces she’ll be leaving for her first European tour soon. The next day, Miley is excited about going to Europe for her tour, but Robbie has received a note from her school saying she’s failing Biology. As a result, Robbie cancels Hannah Montana’s European tour until Miley can get her grades up. At school, Miley tells Oliver and Lilly she had Bad news. Meanwhile, Jackson invites Becky over to the house after school in order to help her with Spanish. Afterwards, Thor explains to Jackson that his landlord won’t allow him to keep his pet parrot, Snowball, anymore, so Jackson agrees to take care of him for a while. In order to help Miley pass Biology, Lilly and Oliver suggest she get the smarts kid in Biology to tutor her and the smartest kid in Biology happens to be none other than Rico. Rico agrees to help Miley in Biology, but only if she helps him in Art. So, she poses for him wearing an Old English dress, including an enormous wig, while he paints. Now, since she helped him, he tries tutoring her in Biology, his methods are of no help for her at all.
After school, Thor leaves Snowball with Jackson at his house. Afterwards, Becky arrives so Jackson can help her with Spanish. Everything is going well at first, but soon, Snowball starts repeating the rude comments Thor said about some other Becky at school while trying to figure out which one Jackson was going to be tutoring. And since Snowball is saying things like “buck-tooth Becky” and “Becky with bad breath”, Becky starts thinking the parrot is talking about her. Feeling insulted, Becky decides to leave. Later that evening, Miley is frustrated that she can’t understand her Biology homework. Since she’s able to relate to a Hannah dance quicker, she comes up with the idea to treat her Biology stuff as if it were one of those dances.
Planning to return Snowball to Thor, Jackson brings the parrot to school and it causes him to get detention. So, out of frustration, he tells the parrot it wishes it would just drop dead and it literally does drop dead. Jackson tries to hide the fact that Snowball’s dead from Thor, but he soon finds out and knows that Snowball is not really dead, he was just “playing dead.” Jackson is now relieved to learn he didn’t really kill the parrot. In Biology Miley prepares to take her mid-term exam. She tries singing the answers in her head and starts dancing around a bit to try and remember them. However, her teacher won’t let her do that, since it’s too distracting. Eventually, the rest of the class finishes the exam, leaving just Miley. In order to help Miley finish the exam, Oliver tries distracting Ms. Kunkle so that Miley can do her dance to remember the answers. However, Ms. Kunkle catches her again and assumes she’s cheating, so she tells her go to the Principal’s office.
Since Ms. Kunkle won’t believe that she wasn’t cheating, Miley decides to sing her dance routine out loud in front of the class. Eventually she gets the class dancing and singing along to the tune of “Nobody’s Perfect”. Impressed with her learning technique, Ms. Kunkle gives Miley an “A” for her mid-term. Miley, Lilly and Oliver can all now go to Europe for the tour. As the episode ends, Rico is wondering where he’s seen those dance moves and heard that song. He finally guesses Hannah Montana, but in order to keep Miley’s secret a secret, Oliver and Lilly pretend Miley is too dumb to possibly be someone like Hannah Montana. So, Rico leaves without realizing how right he actually was.
